About
Hi, I’m Mekhi Kalil.
I’ve always been drawn to creating, whether it be painting my two goldfish as a kid or chalking the solar system (Pluto included) in my grandparents’ driveway. Growing up in Hartselle, Alabama, a town where football reigned supreme, I stood out as the “art kid,” finding outlets through class t-shirt designs, murals, and community art events.
That spark for visual expression eventually led me to Auburn University, where I’m pursuing a BFA in Graphic Design with a minor in Business. My work balances storytelling, problem-solving, and clean, concept-driven design, with particular interests in branding, advertising, and publication. I’m always exploring ways to push beyond what’s expected while keeping ideas rooted in clarity.
Outside of design, I enjoy vintage shopping, sipping matcha at local coffee spots, and serving with my church. I’m inspired by the beauty in everyday life and love helping others see it too.
Let’s connect! I’m always open to creative opportunities, collaboration, or just a great conversation.
