Hi, I’m Mekhi Kalil.

I’m a designer with a BFA in Graphic Design and a minor in Business from Auburn University, drawn to branding, advertising, and publication design.

What keeps me excited about design is helping others notice the beauty and potential in things that might otherwise go overlooked. I love those “aha” moments when someone sees their vision take shape or discovers something they hadn't noticed before. It’s those moments of connection and shared appreciation that truly inspire me.

For me, design is an opportunity to take those difficult-to-articulate ideas and give them clarity, character, and form. I care about making things clean, approachable, and easy to understand without stripping them of personality. Charles Eames said, “The details are not the details; they make the design,” and I couldn’t agree more. I love getting into the nitty-gritty, making sure every element is intentional and that even the simplest outcome has layers of thoughtful decisions behind it.

Outside of design, you’ll probably find me vintage shopping, at a coffee shop, or exploring something new (certainly not beating the “artsy guy” allegations).
